Greg Schulze, PGA Master Professional of Instruction has been teaching golf improvement for over 28 years. A Class-A Professional since 1989, he has helped over 18,000 amateurs, professionals, groups and golf school students. A native of St. Paul, he spent many years teaching at clubs and academies in south Florida.

In 1999, Greg completed studies and testing to earn the PGA of America’s highest teaching distinction - PGA Master Professional of Instruction, there are currently less than 200 PGA Professionals in the United States and 7 in Minnesota to reach this level. His peers honored him with the 2012 Minnesota PGA Horton Smith Award for Education, the 2007 MNPGA Teacher of the Year Award and the 2006 MNPGA Junior Golf Leader Award, becoming only the 2nd PGA Professional in Minnesota history to be the recipient of 3 different awards. He has given personal instruction to a PGA Tour winner, LPGA Tour player, Minnesota PGA Senior Player-of -the-Year, Minnesota PGA Player-of-the-Year, Minnesota State High School Champion, Minnesota State Open Champions, 3 Minnesota Golf Hall-of-Famers and over 30 PGA club Professionals from across the U.S.

In 2008, Greg completed studies to become a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor and is the ONLY PGA Master Professional with this certification in Minnesota. He served on the PGA of America’s National Teaching Faculty for 5 years. He is currently listed in Golf Digest Magazine’s “Top 10 Teachers in Minnesota”, Honorable Mention “Top 50 Kids Instructor in America” and since 2009 “Top 50 Instructors in America” by Golf Range Magazine.

His greatest honor was the 2000 “Distinguished Service Award” from the Minnesota Special Olympics. He is a Nationally Certified Coach for Special Olympics and has directed many clinics, tournaments, and certification schools for parents and coaches.

Greg was a featured speaker at Minnesota PGA Teaching Seminars in 2000, 2001, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 attended by over 650 PGA Professionals. He has over 80 instruction articles published in newspapers and magazines. He has appeared as an instructor on The Golf Channel, PGA.com, and every major TV network in the Twin Cities and has hosted his own weekly live golf radio show.

Teaching Philosophy:
Your current swing and short game techniques are a unique personalized blend of nearly all your golf experiences. Simply, you "do" what you believe or perceive to be what you're "supposed to do". My job is to make sure that your "to-do-list" does not contain any negative or faulty information which will stall your improvement and enjoyment of golf. During lessons, both physical and mental habits are replaced with the positive. If you think better, you will swing better! Your golf swing should not be learned through books, magazines, television or even your own trial and error. Improvement begins with a professional diagnosis of your particular body type, strength, flexibility and current beliefs. Next we will assess your current capabilities, your mental approach, and dedication level to practice. Finally, we work as a team to agree on a roadmap and timetable for your lasting improvement.
